Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information FlipType LLC (“FlipType,” “we,” “us”) collects when you visit www.fliptype.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers the Site only. Use of the FlipType application is governed by the agreement between FlipType and your organization.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit the contact form or book a demo or advisory call, we collect what you enter: typically your name, work email, company, phone number if you provide one, and your message. If you book through our scheduling tool, the tool collects the date and time you choose and any notes you add.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site receives standard technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site that referred you. We use this for security, to keep the Site working, and to understand which pages are useful.

Advertising measurement. We use Google Ads to reach environmental consulting firms. Google’s tag on the Site sets cookies that let Google measure whether an ad led to a demo booking. See “Cookies and analytics” below.

We do not collect payment information on the Site, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

How we use information

We use the information above to respond to your enquiry, schedule and hold the meeting you booked, follow up with you about FlipType’s software and services, operate and secure the Site, and measure the effectiveness of our advertising. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the Site, and they process information only on our behalf:

• Cloudflare hosts the Site and provides privacy-focused web analytics that do not use cookies or track you across sites.
• Google provides the Google Ads tag used for advertising measurement.
• Cal.com provides the scheduling pages used to book demos and advisory calls.
• Resend delivers form submissions to our inbox by email.
• Microsoft provides the email and business systems in which we store correspondence.
• HubSpot is our customer relationship management system, where we may keep records of enquiries and meetings.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of FlipType or others.

Cookies and analytics

The Site sets cookies only for Google Ads conversion measurement. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; you can also opt out of Google’s advertising cookies through Google’s Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com) and learn how Google uses data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. The Site does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, because there is no industry standard for them; it does honor Global Privacy Control signals as described under California rights below.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry and meeting records for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain our business relationship, and then for as long as reasonably required for our records. Technical logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.

Security

The Site is served over HTTPS. Information you submit is transmitted to us over encrypted connections and stored in systems that require authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to correct or delete the information you have given us, or to stop contacting you, by emailing privacy@fliptype.com. Marketing emails from us include an unsubscribe link.

California residents. The California Consumer Privacy Act gives California residents the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to request deletion or correction, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we treat Global Privacy Control browser signals as an opt-out. To exercise these rights, email privacy@fliptype.com; we will verify your request using the information you have already provided to us. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

Visitors outside the United States. The Site is operated from the United States and information you submit is processed here. By using the Site you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Changes

We will update this policy when our practices change and revise the effective date above. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
