AI advisory · Training

Your firm bought Copilot. Now get your people using it well.

Most firms that license Microsoft 365 Copilot get a few enthusiasts and a lot of unused seats. Our training is taught inside your staff’s actual work — the reports, proposals, emails and spreadsheets they already produce — so they leave with habits, not a slide deck. We cover Copilot first, then ChatGPT and Claude for the tasks Copilot handles poorly, always inside the review and confidentiality rules your clients expect.

Curriculum

What it covers

  • Copilot

    Copilot where it lives

Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint, using the documents and threads your team works in every day. Drafting, summarising, extracting, reformatting, and knowing when Copilot’s answer needs a second look.

  • Beyond Copilot

ChatGPT and Claude for the rest

The tasks Copilot isn’t good at: longer reasoning, restructuring a messy document, working through a regulatory question, building a checklist from a standard. Which tool for which job, and how to keep the results consistent.

  • Rules

    What not to put in

A plain set of rules for client data, third-party material and anything under NDA, matched to your firm’s IT settings and your clients’ contracts. Staff learn what’s safe in your tenant and what stays out of public tools.

  • Review

    Checking the output

How to read an AI draft the way a senior reviewer would: what to verify, what to strip, where the tools quietly invent. The goal is work your EPs and PMs would sign, not faster first drafts nobody trusts.

Format

How it’s delivered

Short live sessions, remote or on site, built around your firm’s real documents rather than generic examples. Role-based groups (field and project staff, PMs and reviewers, admin and proposals) so nobody sits through material that isn’t theirs. A short pre-session intake so we arrive knowing your tenant, licences and client rules. Follow-up office hours after the sessions so the habits stick.

Fit

Who it’s for

Environmental consulting firms with Microsoft 365 Copilot licences that aren’t earning their keep, firms deciding whether to buy them, and firms whose staff are already using ChatGPT or Claude informally and need rules and a common way of working.

Scope

What it isn’t

  • Not a vendor pitch — we don’t sell Microsoft licences and have no reseller arrangement.
  • Not a generic “AI 101” webinar.
  • Not prompt-engineering theory.
  • Not a substitute for your IT team’s security configuration; we work inside what they’ve set.
Three ways we work

Where it fits

Training is one of three ways we work with firms. If you don’t yet know where AI would pay off, start with the AI workflow diagnostic. If your need is broader than Copilot, our AI training for environmental firms covers the wider toolset and report workflows. When a repeatable task deserves more than a prompt, we build custom AI workflows.

FAQs

Questions firms ask first

Is this only for Copilot?

No. Copilot is the anchor because it sits inside the tools your staff already use, but we cover ChatGPT and Claude for the tasks Copilot handles poorly, and we’re clear about which tool suits which job.

Do we need Copilot licences before training?

No. Some firms use the sessions to decide whether licences are worth buying. If you already have them, we’ll make sure they’re set up and used; if you don’t, we’ll show what they’d add over the tools you have.

How do you handle client confidentiality?

We start from your clients’ contracts and your IT team’s tenant settings, and we teach staff a simple rule set for what goes into which tool. Nothing in the sessions requires sharing client data with FlipType.

How much time does it take per person?

A few short sessions rather than a full day away from billable work, plus optional office hours afterwards. Exact length depends on the roles involved; we’ll propose it after the intake.

Will senior staff engage with this?

That’s usually where the training lands best. Reviewers and PMs see the most time recovered, and they set the standard the rest of the firm follows. We run a separate group for them built around review and sign-off.
